Hi, and
welcome to Sassy's In Home Pet Sitting Service's website. I appreciate
your stopping by. Please take a few minutes to read over the testimonials
and scan the photos I have taken of some of my charges. They are more
than that; they have become part of my family.
About
me: Born in Los Angeles, I am a Baby Boomer. Growing up, my sister and
I had turtles (Hurtle and Murtle), hamsters (Polly and Pollyanna then
Roly and Poly). Even though we were young, we loved them and it taught
us how to care for another living being and taking on grown up responsibilities.
We had a menagerie; dogs, cats, fish, birds all equaled noise and love.
Before I met my husband, I adopted 2 sister kitties where the "mom"
was ready for another litter. I saw them curled on a chair and couldn't
tell where one started and the other ended. I was in love! I took them
both home. For 15 wonderful years I had Chicklet, my lap kitty, who
I sent over the "Rainbow Bridge" due to cancer and her sister,
Djae (my husband said she was his kitty) a year later with similar conditions.
I have their pictures on my computer hutch where I can visit and talk
to them daily. I dream of them, too. They are happy and making new friends!
Living
in Las Vegas since 10-2000 with my husband of 21 years, we have 2 wonderful
"fur kitties", Bonnie and Gabrielle (Gabby). In 9-2004, we
felt it was time we looked into adopting another pet. Bonnie is a rescue
kitty (found in a field). Bonnie actually adopted my husband, Gene.
We walked into the shelter's "cat room"; he entered before
me and as he walked past a few cages, we saw a very long, black arm/paw
reach out to him begging for attention. He opened the cage and took
out Bonnie, who literally clung to him, saying "take me home, please"!!
Of course we did. About 1 month later, our vet calls saying she has
a surprise for us. Her technician found a kitty in the wheel well of
his truck, mewing away. His daughter was allergic; we went to the hospital
where this little gray fuzz ball was brought out to us mewing away.
Meow, meow, meow and investigating everything. We took her home and
that was almost 5 years ago. Gabby is now pure black and my shadow.
I couldn't think of life without them (Gabby Pictured)
I
stand by my motto: "Comfort for your pet and care of your home"
for life!
Loving
and caring for animals is in my heart and soul. Loving and caring for
yours would be as if they were part of my family.
